Preparing For Your Session…
Tips and Things to Think About:
What to Wear?
Be 100% you! At the end of the day, you will look and feel your best in what makes you feel you!
Beyond that I always recommend these things:
Neutral with a small pop of colour
Stay away from extremely neon colours and loud patterns
Wear clothes that are comfy and allow you to move freely
Layers are always good and allow the feel of different outfits without actually changing
Do I Need to Bring Anything?
In short, no. I’ve got you covered!
That being said, if there are any special items or props you’d like to incorporate, please bring them and make me aware so I can include them the best of my ability.
I once had a couple bring bread to their session for a really cute inside joke that they wanted me to capture. It was super fun and brought the most genuine smiles to the photos. It’ll always be such a good memory for me and my clients.
How to Prepare?
I want you feeling your best! It makes for the most fun time and the best photos. Make sure you have a good sleep the night before, plan your outfit ahead of time (you can even ask me to help, I’ve had people send me photos for help) and eat foods that are healthy and leave you feeling good and not bloated (for example, you may want to avoid too much dairy)
On your way to your session you can pump yourself up by blaring some of your favourite music that makes you feel good, it’s amazing what music can do to your mood. I always play music during sessions for that exact reason. You can even send me a few song requests.
